'Go Purple' Today For Victims Of Domestic Abuse

Today marks the fourth 'Go Purple Day' event.

People around the midlands are being encouraged to 'Go Purple' today in support of victims of Domestic Violence.

This year marks the fourth rendition of 'Go Purple Day,' which is the brainchild of Stacey Looby, from Athlone Garda Station.

The initiative is in place to integrate a community between domestic abuse services and An Garda Síochána.

Ms. Looby, who's a Community Garda, says there's support available:
