Offaly No Longer Satisfied With Second Best - Ellee McEvoy

Greg Farrelly's team finished their Leinster campaign on a winning note on Sunday.

Offaly's footballers are working to restore respect to the county jersey, according to their captain, Ellee McEvoy.

The Naomh Ciaran midfielder is making the comments after her side completed their Intermediate Leinster Championship campaign with a comprehensive win over Wicklow in O'Connor Park on Sunday.

McEvoy says her side have accepted defeat to readily in the past.

The Faithful County were 4-9 to 1-6 winners against Wicklow, with Róisín Cockram, Emma Hand, Róisín Ennis and Ciara Walsh all scoring goals.
