Offaly Among Largest In Drops In Claims Relating To Uninsured Claims

The number of claims of this kind grew in 14 counties.

Offaly saw one of the largest declines in the number of claims relating to uninsured drivers.

That's according to new figures from the Motor Insurers' Bureau of Ireland,, which found the number of claims of these accidents grew in 14 counties, by around 11%, in 2023.

Nine counties recorded a drop, with the biggest falls in Leitrim, Offaly and Sligo.

Westmeath saw no change when compared to 2022, while the number in Laois declined by 10%.
