Ploughing Competition Taking Place On "Ideal Ground"

The weather has had an impact on ploughing conditions

The National Ploughing Championships are well underway in Ratheniska today. 

The competitors were out in full force at 10:30am as judging began this morning.

They are expecting to finish up today around 2:30pm and they will find out the final result at 6:30pm this evening.

Current Conventional Ploughing World Champion, Eamonn Treacy says while the rain is not having a good effect, the ground conditions are ideal:
