A Midlands social media lecturer thinks figures should back up statements when discussing issues like immigration online.

It follows comments on immigration made by the Irish social media personality Garron Noone which caused controversy.

He spoke on the issue following  Conor McGregor's visit to the White House on St Patricks Day on Tiktok.
