Athlone's Donna McCaul is the lead singer with the band, Identity Thief, and has been living in LA since 2015.
Identity Thief has been playing many private and public shows in LA over the last year.
They decided to go the original song route and will have their first full album ready for release in early 2025 along with new music videos.
Donna has released a new original Christmas song called Wintertime.
The band members include Donna McCaul as lead singer, Gino Di Leva on vocals and drums, Marc Rivera on bass and vocals, Mark Riccairdi on lead guitar and vocals, and Ben Harrison on keys and vocals.
Donna has represented Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 in Ukraine and plans to come back to Athlone when she has the full album written.
