140-Year-Old Property Bill To Be Scrutinised Today

IPAV will be engaging with the Oireachtas Justice Committee later.

The legal process of transferring property from a seller to a buyer is being described as unfit for digital age.

A law dating back to 1881 will be scrutinised by the Oireachtas Justice Committee today.

The Institute of Professional Auctioneers & Valuers will ask the committee to amend a Seller’s Property Buyers 2021 bill, to change the order in which documents are made available to prospective buyers.
