19 New Midlands Homes To Come From Old Pubs

It's part of an initiative to convert vacant commercial properties into housing.

Old pubs are set to be transformed into 19 new homes in the midlands.

It's part of a new initiative to convert over 1,100 vacant commercial properties to over 2,700 new homes around the country.

That project would see old pubs be used to create 17 dwellings in Offaly, with one each in Laois and Westmeath, respectively.

Developer Eoin Byrne converted the Old Slaney Hotel in Tullow, Carlow, into apartments using government initiatives:
