There are 22 patients on trolleys in the midlands - 8 in Tullamore, 4 in Portlaoise and 10 in Mullingar.
University Hospital Limerick has the most patients waiting on a bed nationally with 70.
That's followed by Cork University Hospital and Letterkenny University Hospital with 60 and 50 respectively.
Only four Irish hospitals have no waiting patients - Tallaght, Bantry, Ennis and Nenagh.
