However two midlands stations saw a drop in drug related crime last year.
40% of garda stations across the country recorded an increase in crime last year compared to pre-covid levels in 2019.
An analysis of CSO figures by the Irish Independent found fraud more than doubled to over 17,000 cases last year.
While theft accounted for one in four of all recorded offences in 2021 and was the predominant problem in over a third of garda stations last year.
However, drug related offences in the midlands dropped.
There was a reduction of 94% in drug crime in Stradbally, the home of Electric Picnic, in 2021, while the number in Delvin in Westmeath, dropped by 85% - which is the local station for the Body & Soul festival.
