Rocket Strike On Irish Troops Not Thought To Be Deliberate

The incident in Camp Shamrock earlier this week.

It's thought a rocket strike on a base where Irish soldiers are stationed in Lebanon came from Hezbollah and wasn't intentional. 

All peacekeepers are safe after it fell in Camp Shamrock on Wednesday night. 

Hundreds of Irish peacekeepers are based in the camp.

Former Army Ranger and now Kildare South Independent TD Cathal Berry believes it's most likely it was an unintended strike.
