More than 230,000 people visited tourist attractions in Westmeath last year despite the onset of covid-19.
Just under half of those attended the Regional Sports Centre in Athlone.
Almost 75,000 people went to Belvedere House Park and Gardens in 2020 with a further 2,500 people visiting in the first four months of this year.
Other amenities with over 5,000 attendees were the Luan Gallery, Athlone Castle and Mullingar Swimming Pool.
