A midlands alpaca farmer has put the theory to the test, and found positive results.
A midlands man is burning poo to stay warm this winter.
Alan McIntyre of Hilltop Farm Alpacas just outside Ballinagar, recently donned rubber gloves to ball up the the mammal's waste.
The Alpaca farmer is hoping to have 250 done in January and is considering putting them on the market.
