A midlands TD says the idea of this generation owning their own homes is a pipe dream

Aontu has published its pre-budget submission, calling on the government to tackle what it calls the economic ageism working against young people.

The party said the skyrocketing cost of life in Ireland is stealing their futures away.

Aontu leader and Meath West Deputy Peadar Toibin, said the idea of this generation owning their own homes is a pipe dream many will never see come true, and this budget needs to deliver substantive reform:
