It Makes More Sense For Refugees To Be Located Where There's Better Infrastructure

That's according to Longford Westmeath TD Robert Troy.

Bigger towns are better suited to taking on International Protection Applicants.

That's according to Longford Westmeath Fianna Fáil TD Robert Troy, as Columb Barracks in Mullingar is expected to see 45 modular housing units errected in the coming months for IPAs.

40 of these units will be used for accommodation, while the remaining five will be used for other services.

Deputy Troy says many of these IPAs have integrated well into the town and the community:
