'Granny Nancy' witnessed two world wars, the war of independence and the Spanish flu.
A book of stories detailing the life of Granny Nancy will be published this weekend.
Clonard's Nancy Stewart, who passed away last year at the age of 107, rose to fame during the Covid-19 lockdown when she wrote a letter to encourage everyone to remain positive during the pandemic.
She witnessed two world wars, the war of independence and Spanish flu having been born back in 1913.
'Granny Nancy, Ireland's Oldest Lady Who Lived, Loved and Laughed for 107 Years' will be released on Sunday.
Author of the book, and Nancy's grand-daughter, Louise Coughlan, says it's 'full of the good stuff:':
