Budget Issues Resolved In Two Midlands Hospitals

New nursing graduates will be offered a permanent job, according to the HSE.

Two Midlands Hospitals are set to see the addition of new nursing graduates, after "budget issues" were resolved.

Applicants on a panel for positions at Tullamore and Mullingar Hospitals had been offered roles or applied for advertised positions, only for them to be later withdrawn.

However, the HSE says all graduates will be offered a permanent job once the recruitment process has been completed.

Independent Laois Offaly TD, Carol Nolan, says both hospitals can now see the benefits of recruiting the applicants:
