Calls For More Rural Representation In Westmeath Town's Transport Plan

The draft includes car journey alternatives and supporting integration with the Greenway.

A new transport plan for a Westmeath town is being criticised for not accommodating those in rural areas.

The Draft Local Travel Plan for Mullingar was discussed during a recent meeting of the Mullingar Kinnegad area. 

The proposal includes providing alternatives for short car journeys, improving local integration with the national Greenway and supporting behavioral change measures in this area.
