Calls For Reassessment Of A MIDOC Service Closure In Offaly

On average, 20 people were attending the service per weekend prior to it closing.

The HSE is being urged to reassess the closure of an Offaly MIDOC service.

The facility in Birr closed in 2018, with MIDOC in Tullamore absorbing the additional patient numbers, which the Health Service says it's more than capable of.

Around 20 people were attending the service in Birr on an average weekend before the closure.
