Offaly ranked second in the country for increased spending for this year's Valentine's Day.
It seems Cavan is Ireland's most romantic county, with Offaly, a relatively distant second.
New analysis of spending for Valentines Day last week shows that people in Cavan spent 126% more on romantic items than they did last year.
The figure for Offaly is 49%, followed by Wicklow, Roscommon, and Sligo.
Spending in Westmeath jumped by 10% in 2023.
The 'Spending Pulse' report from Bank of Ireland found lovebirds across the country spent more money on spa breaks, jewellery, chocolates and flowers than they did in 2021.
Meanwhile Valentines day spending fell by 35% in Waterford, 28% in Leitrim and 19% in Kildare.
