Aishling's Little Angels in Cullohill has been operating for 15 years, but says the 'crisis' facing the sector 'has gone too far.'
In a statement to Midlands 103, owner Aishling Aylward says the childcare sector is in crumbles, and the issues facing it, such as staffing shortages, rising costs and the funding and pay freeze, aren't being addressed.
She says the decision to close in June is 'sad and unfortunate,' and she's thanking parents and everyone who has supported the service over the past 15 years.
