Over 10% of festival goers availed of testing before driving off.
Almost 10,000 breathalyser tests were used at Electric Picnic last month.
They were located at four car park stations, with 13% of festival goers checking if they were over the limit before they drove off.
The devices were put in place as part of a three year partnership between Electric Picnic and the Road Safety Authority.
Sarah O’Connor, Director of Partnerships and External Affairs at the RSA says: "Feedback from attendees was extremely positive and we were amazed to hear from festival goers that there was a lack of understanding around the strength of alcoholic drinks and the number of alcohol measures that impact alcohol limit breathalyser readings"
