A community space dedicated to the memory of a Laois girl is being opened this week.

Her uncle Tony Brown has built a meeting room, for voluntary groups that can't afford rental costs, and named it Hollie's Room in her honour.
It was a community effort with local tradespeople giving their time and skills to the project.
Having gone through his own issues with addiction, Tony says he wanted to give something back:
