Community Wants To Improve Laois Town For "Future Generations"

The town is celebrating its 250th year.

Community groups in a Laois town are aiming to make it a better place to live, work and visit.

Stakeholders in Abbeyleix are looking to the future as it marks 250 years of township.

Plans include a sustainable energy across the community, fountain restoration and a smart environment plan for Father Breen Park.
