The Longford Westmeath TD voted yes to acknowledge the report on the issue.
A yes vote for the Oireachtas Committee's report on Assisted Dying is due recognition for the time and work done by those involved.
Longford Westmeath TD Sorca Clarke, who served on the committee, is one of 76 deputies who voted in favour, with 53 going against it.
The report involved scores of witnesses and testimonies over the course of a six month period, and recommends legislating for assisted dying in limited circumstances.
