Creche-owners are fearing closure, if numbers drop due to a permanent move to remote working. 

Reports are emerging of an expected drop in children attending, if parents continue working from home into the future.

Regina Bushell, MD of Grovelands Childcare in Mullingar, Athlone and Tullamore, sits on the Department of Children's advisory board.

She says financial supports from government have stopped providers going out of business - but they're worried about the long-term picture:
