A Tullamore school will be adding two modular units based on their needs in the near future.
The State is giving assurances much-needed classrooms in an Offaly school will be delivered in time for next year.
Charleville National School has been given the go-ahead for the provision of two modular units, consisting of a special education room, a classroom and a special tuition room.
Without the additional rooms, 12 students with autism due to attend the school in September, will have nowhere to go.
