A drug driver has been arrested by Gardaí in the midlands.
The Laois Roads Policing Unit stopped the motorist at a checkpoint in Ballyroan, where they failed a roadside drug test for the use of Cocaine.
Gardaí say courts proceedings have commenced against the driver, and the arrest forms part of the Christmas Road Safety Operation.
