The Department of Agriculture says the payments are particularly important in such a challenging year.
The Department of Agriculture has paid out over €139 million to midlands farmers under 2020 schemes.
They include targeted modernisation, low-carbon, and organic payments.
The biggest allocation came under the Basic Payment Scheme, which is distributed per hectare of eligible land.
In total, Laois farmers receive the most at €47 million, followed by Offay with €46 million, and Westmeath at €45 million.
The Department says the support are vital for farmers during a challenging year, to maximise income and cashflow.
