Elderly train users in Laois are raising concerns with a lack of assistance and personnel at stations in the county.
Stations in Portlaoise, Portarlington and Ballybrophy are being highlighted in particular, according to Independent Councillor, Tommy Mulligan.
He raised the issue during a meeting of Laois County Council today, and called on the local authority to write to Irish Rail.
