Enterprise Minister Working On Plans To Support 275k Jobs

A review will be carried out on payments to SMEs.

Cabinet will sign off on a new strategy for Enterprise Ireland aimed at supporting 275,000 jobs out to the end of the decade.

The memo from the Enterprise Minister and Longford Westmeath TD Peter Burke also explores how to increase the scale at which Irish companies export. 

While a review will be carried out to ensure prompt payments to SMEs in receipt of Government money. 

The memos come amid continued uncertainty about the future of trade with the USA.
