Explosions Destroy Dam In Southern Ukraine

Those living close by are being forced to flee their homes.

People have been forced to flee their homes after a dam in a Russian-controlled part of southern Ukraine was destroyed following explosions.

Concerns have been raised that it could impact local drinking water supplies and affect the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, which uses the water for its cooling ponds. 

Kyiv and Moscow are blaming each other for blasts at the site.

Security and Defence Analyst, Mullingar's Declan Power says Russia has the most to benefit from the move:
