Tony McCormack will now serve in the Dáil after being a member of Offaly County Council for 15 years.
The numbers show Fianna Fáil should at least be granted more ministerial positions in Government, according to a newly elected TD in Offaly for the party.
Tony McCormack earned his spot in the Dáil for the first time, after serving as a member of Offaly County Council for 15 years.
He attended his first ever parliamentary meeting in Leinster House yesterday.
