Fine Gael And Sinn Féin Clash Over Zappone Controversy At Oireachtas Committee

Charlie Flanagan was unhappy with the line of questioning.

Sinn Féin and Fine Gael have clashed as the Foreign Affairs Committee seeks further answers about the proposed appointment of Katherine Zappone as UN Special Envoy. 

Secretary General at the Department of An Taoiseach, Martin Fraser appeared before TDs last night. 

Laois-Offaly TD Charlie Flanagan is chair of the committee and was unhappy with the line of questioning from deputy John Brady.
