Florida Shops Without Bread And Water Since Monday As Hurricane Hits

Hurricane Milton has since been downgraded to a Category 1 Storm.

Shops in Florida have been without bread, water and sandbags since Monday, according to a Westmeath woman living there.

Mullingar's Ashley Casserly lives in Orlando, and is preparing for Hurricane Milton.

The storm, which has been downgraded to Category 1, has caused streets to be flooded and power outages across the region. 

Officials are reporting two people have died. 

Ms Casserly and her family have decided to stay put in the safest room in her house as there is hurricane straps in place in her home:
