Former Longford-Westmeath TD To Fill In For Empty Seanad Seat

Joe Flaherty will be filling in for the remaining six weeks of the Seanad sitting.

A former Longford-Westmeath TD will be sitting for the last six weeks of the current Seanad.

Joe Flaherty will be filling one of the three vacant seats left from the general election.

The Fianna Fáil rep lost his place in the Dáil coming sixth in the polls, and is set to put his name forward for a spot in the Seanad in the elections at the end of January.
