Former Westmeath Service Station Worker To Receive Special Recognition

Millie Walsh worked at the Maxol Service Station in Mullingar for 40 years.

A well known and recently retired Westmeath man is set to receive an Address of Recognition from the county.

Millie Walsh ended his 40 year term as the operator of Maxol Service Station in Mullingar in July.

The Address, courtesy of Westmeath County Council, will take place in the coming months.

Labour Councillor, Denis Leonard, proposed the motion, and says Millie symbolises what small business owners are all about:
