Here's where you can benefit from free parking this holiday season.
Midlands shoppers will have one less thing to worry about this Christmas- with most towns providing free parking periods throughout December.
Here's the times and places where you can benefit from free parking this festive season:
Offaly
Tullamore Town Centre Street Parking and Council Carparks will offer free parking to one hour from next Monday 2nd December until Tuesday 31st of December.
Free parking all day every Sunday and at Daingean Road Carpark will still continue - with the first 3 hours of parking also free at O'Neill's Place Carpark until the 31st of December.
Laois
Laois County Council will be providing 2 hours free parking every Saturday in December in the run-up to Christmas.
This will apply for Portlaoise, Mountmellick and Portarlington.
Westmeath
In Mullingar, the Council car parks will have free parking in place on a certain number of dates.
These dates are November 29th, December 7th, December 13th and 14th, December 20th and 21st, and December 23rd.
On street parking is in operation as normal outside these dates.
Meanwhile in Athlone, free parking will be available all day in council car parks from the 17th to the 24th.
Motorists can avail of this at The Fair Green, St Mary's Square, Connaught Street, Athlone Castle, and O'Connell Street.
Strand Street car park is currently closed due to works.
