There's been another drop in the number of asylum seekers being accommodated in the midlands.
The latest figures from the Department of Integration show there are 1,795 International Protection Applicants being housed in the region, down from over 1,800 at the end of May.
842 of those are in Westmeath, followed by 561 in Laois and 392 in Offaly.
Nationally, 31,000 asylum seekers are being accommodated around the country, including over, 7,700 children.
Of the total figure, more than 1,000 are in tented accommodation.
