Gardaí have issued a renewed appeal for drivers to take care following a tragic weekend on the roads.
Five people died in four separate crashes in Meath, Cork and Kilkenny, including Stuart O'Connell and Mark Eager, who passed away following a collision involving three motorbikes in Oldcastle yesterday afternoon.
It brings the total number of road deaths so far this year to 113.
