Green Party Selects General Election Candidate in Laois

She also ran in the Local Elections in June.

The Green Party has chosen its General Election candidate for Laois.

Ballinakill's Rosie Palmer has been selected by the party to run for a seat in the three-seat constituency, which will once again be split from Offaly.

She failed to secure a seat in the Local Elections, after receiving 313 votes in the Portlaoise area in June.

Ms. Palmer is the Green Party's second General Election candidate in the midlands, after Senator Pippa Hackett was chosen to run in Offaly earlier this year.
