Demand for electric vehicles in the midlands is continuing to grow.
New figures from the Society of the Irish Motor Industry show there were 339 new EVs registered last month - that's an increase of just under a quarter on the same period last year.
Overall, 2,384 new cars were registered in the region in April, a 2% jump on the same month in 2022.
Nationally, EV registrations were up 14%.
