TUS President, Vincent Cunnane, recently called for investment into student accommodation.
The Minister for Higher Education says he's anxious to secure as much as money as possible to support TUS Athlone students in the Budget.
It follows calls from President, Vincent Cunnane, to allocate greater funding for the development of accommodation for students in Westmeath.
He also stated students in TUS Athlone are still using out-dated computers and recent increases in funding have been cancelled out by a rise in inflation.
