You can't teach 'cop-on' in a classroom setting, you need the practical element.
That's according to the CEO of FRS Recruitment, Laois' Colin Donnery, who is making the comments after a suggestion that working in hospitality could be a form of 'national service' for under 25-year-olds.
He says it's a way of learning to deal with the public and manage conflict, with life skills to serve you in a number of situations.
