Westmeath and Laois also saw an increase.
Offaly house prices have soared by 9% in the second quarter of the year, according to a new REA report.
The results show the cost of a home in the county is now €240,000.
Prices increased by 3.5% in Westmeath, where the average cost is €295,000, while in Laois, it's €265,000.
Dublin City saw an increase of 1.6%, bringing the average cost to €525,500, with other cities in the country seeing a rise of around €5,000.
