The Irish Farmers' Association is confident an increase to the membership fee will mean a balancing of operational costs next year.
The IFA this week confirmed they recorded an operational deficit of over €895,000 to the year end March 31st 2024 - with the association recording an overall loss of €429,600.
Laois IFA Chair, Henry Burns, says the group understands it had to adjust to current costs:
