IFA Lay Down Expectation On Farmer Supports At Meeting With Government

Laois' Francie Gorman says the IFA will reserve judgement on Simon Harris until after the budget.

The EU Nature Restoration Law and supports for the tillage were high on the agenda at a meeting between the State and the IFA President.

Laois' Francie Gorman met with the Taoiseach and the Tánaiste yesterday, to outline his priorities for Budget 2025.

They also discussed climate targets for the farming sector, and the Residential Zoned Land Tax.
