New figures show we are on course for only a 29% reduction of greenhouse gases by 2030.

We're going backwards in terms of farming policy, according to a Westmeath environmental expert.

A new EPA report has found Ireland is only on course to meet a 29% reduction of greenhouse gases by 2030, instead of the target of 51%.

It says the State will fall short of its targets, even if all aspects of the Climate Action Plan are enforced.
