Ireland To Avoid European Heatwave

Some European countries could see temperatures above 40 degrees.

A hot plume of air from the south is bringing killer temperatures to parts of Europe this week. 

Spain could reach 45 degrees Celcius, France could see 41 degrees, and England will experience values in the low 30's. 

However Ireland will escape the soaring heat.  

Carlow Weather's Alan O'Reilly says it should still be warm and sunny.
