Ireland Would Be 'Outlier' In Asylum Space Without EU Migration Pact - Fianna Fáil

A Dáil vote on the matter has been postponed until next week.

A Longford-Westmeath Fianna Fáil TD admits the Government has been 'too slow' in responding to the immigration crisis.

Deputies agreed to extend a Dáil debate and voting on the EU Migration Pact until next week, allowing more TDs to join the discussion.

The Seanad has already voted in favour of the pact yesterday, by 30 votes to 11.
